Hana Al-Iesa

I am an educator with interest in special education. For 15years, I have worked in the field of education. I have worked with a wide range of grade levels and abilities and am particularly experienced with students who require more one on one attention. I have taught lessons using differentiation and utilized multiple intelligence theory as well as embedding an ELL aspect. I have a particular passion for teaching the arts and sciences. I have experience in IB education as well as PBIS method of behavior management. I also worked for 17 years at a senior care facility. I have worked in multiple positions at this facility which include medical technician, caremanager, hostess, concierge and activities director. I have also filled in as a chef in which I helped prepare plates to serve for dinner. I have also done many electronics and plumbing repairs when the maintenance department was closed for the day. I have been trained and have administered first aid and CPR. I am extremely resourceful and very capable of working with what I have to its full potential. When I’m not on the job, I love hiking with my dog, going to theme parks, reading and working on arts and crafts.
