Correlation does not imply causation. This short yet surprising identifiable epigraph has driven my adoration for the field of psychology and its insuppressible potential for research. My passions lie particularly in the rebus exploration of the human brain and etiology of pathology. I am currently in my senior year at Luther College, working towards obtaining a major in Psychology with an accompaning minor in Spanish. My interest in research has endorsed my participation in numerous projects in my leisure time. Including a presentation at the Minnesota Undergraduate Psychology Conference on Holistic Medicine as well as an accepted systematic review of Specialized Diets for Fibromyalgia Symptoms poster presentation to the 2022 International Congress on Integrative Medicine and Health. My passion for social justice and equitable treatment for all can be observed at the Northeast Iowa Peace and Justice Center, where I volunteer my time to the non-profit organization twice a week. I implement my leadership skills in the Psychology Club at Luther College where I am the president and organize bi-weekly meetings, providing resources and information to members and creating an equal and safe environment for all. My goal is to gain new experiences and continue my education in order to attain a career in Neuropsychology. Clifton Strengths: Futuristic, Relator, Restorative, Consistency, Positivity
