Hannah Fry

I am looking for opportunities to be involved in projects that contribute towards positive change for the environment and communities. I am passionate about projects that address global threats from climate change, population growth and environmental degradation, specifically those that relate to building community capacity, education, engagement and research. My Master’s degree in Environmental Management, specialising in Sustainable Development, has given me an understanding of the relevant issues in this field and has given me an appreciation for the importance of considering environmental, social and economic elements when finding sustainable solutions that create real change. I am an experienced Project Coordinator and my career in business support spans eight years five of which have been in project support. My most recent role was as Project Officer for the Sustainable Minerals Institute at UQ. Previous to this role I was employed in project support positions at consultancies Daly International and AECOM, both of which work within the built and natural environments. Throughout my career I have developed a multitude of skills in order to provide high quality support to teams and ensure projects are delivered to client expectations. I have strong project management skills and a wealth of experience working both autonomously and with cross-disciplinary teams. I have a flexible working style and proven problem solving skills, learnt from working across a range of diverse organisations. I have developed excellent interpersonal and written communication skills which allows me to create successful working relationships with people from different levels and backgrounds. I have exceptional time management and organisation skills, having balanced commitments from work and university study.
