Hannah Ward

I was born in Dallas, raised in Chad, Africa and then lived as an adult in Costa Rica for 5 years. Because of this background, I’ve become somewhat of a language nerd and am trilingual. I do Freelance Translation as a fun side-job. After getting my Master’s degree in Geography, I became a high school French teacher more than doubling the number of students in my French program. I taught in the U.S. For 4 years then moved to Costa Rica to teach Geography and Global Studies at an International middle school in the capital city of C.R. For two years. Teacher turned Entrepreneur, I decided to start my own business and founded and grew my own hotel vacation rental business on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. I grew that business for three years and then decided to move my career and life back to the United States. Beginning in the tech world of Vacation Rental Management, I started out as a Customer Success Manager at TurnKey Vacation Rentals with a large portfolio of clients and excelled at managing the largest portfolio of clients on the team as well as successfully mentoring customers to achieve their business goals. I am passionate about developing relationships with clients through an empathetic approach while proactively coaching clients on revenue maximizing strategies and uncovering growth opportunities. My philosophy is always to listen first, then offer solutions that best help the client achieve their goals. My role grew into Revenue Management specialization and was promoted to Revenue Consultant on the Revenue Management team where I drove adoption of best Customer Success strategies to use data to drive conversations to grow revenue. I continue to drive conversations about Process Excellence on the Revenue Management Performance and Innovation team.
