My name is Harrison “Harri” Hicks and I am a Multi-disciplinary artist and filmmaker. I will graduate from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with Bachelors’ in both Philosophy and Film Studies in 2017. While my body of work is primarily in film production (Documentary), I am also proficient across a large span of medium in which I create works. I refer to myself as a synth-praxes artist as I strive to synthesize and bring my knowledge and technique in each discipline to life in all the others.My current entrepreneurial project, otr. is the vehicle through which I test and mould my ideas. Under otr. I head a print and online publication that focuses on the promotion and support of all types of independent artists, produce/direct short & full length documentaries, and also currently manage PR and licensing for two musical acts. Through these experiences I have had the opportunity to amass skill and experience in the areas of Producing (film), Project Management, Public Relations, Marketing & Branding, and Design.
