I am a Senior Logistics & Supply Chain Manager with 10 years’ experience in transportation, operations management, end-to-end multi-modal supply chain development, management procurement & logistics (my resume attached). While I am geographically versatile & have a proven track record in various regions globally, my primary experience & knowledge is gained in various countries in the Middle East. Currently I have worked with BP / ROO in Basra Iraq in the capacity of a PSCM Logistics Specialist in the Procurement Supply Chain Management department. Prior to that I was the Freight and Logistics Operations Manager for DHL Iraq and Afghanistan playing a regional role reporting to the Country Manager and Director of Operations at DHL Global Forwarding for both countries hence have a proven track record of implementing logistical and supply chain solutions and have achieved and obtained many citations which I have attached here for your kind perusal. I have worked in many senior roles & completed various assignments in various countries on behalf of my employer in an, improvise & adapt environment to trouble-shoot by finding & implementing solutions to achieve successful completion of the assignment. During these assignments I have worked with the Oil & Gas industry, military logistics, dangerous goods & special cargo handling (such as live animals, human remains, exhibition cargo ) & commercial freight forwarding & logistics and respectively & successfully managed varying numbers of operations personnel/teams who were assigned to me. I have represented my employers cross-functionally on administrative, commercial, financial & operational interface levels, as needed, reporting directly to the corporate head office. I demonstrated strong analytically & problem-solving skills & have the keen ability to connect & communicate with people on every level in order to gain favorable results in my function.
