Harvey Lam

I lead and support market development efforts for Thomson Reuters' digital platforms such as HighQ, Document Automation, and Legal Tracker. My role brings together my experience and interests in law, business, and technology. I am a former technology and corporate lawyer at Accenture and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). I was also a management consultant at Accenture Strategy focused on strategic planning, go-to-market and M&A strategy, and technology and data strategy. In addition to my day-to-day work as a technology consultant and lawyer, I have served as an advisor to an education technology startup on strategy and business development, acted as general counsel to an organization focused on studying public-private partnerships, and chaired a civic engagement organization aimed at improving the policy dialogue around issues such as Canada’s energy future. I began my career trained as a corporate lawyer at a national Canadian law firm and at the Ontario Securities Commission.
