I am seeking writing and editing positions in Houston, D.C, New York, and San Francisco (I am also willing to relocate abroad). With my experience, academic background, and career interests, I believe I would make an excellent addition to any team. Such positions generally require skills in media, writing, project management, collaboration, sales, and relationship management. My strong communication and interpersonal skills have proved to be valuable assets for my current and previous employers. As a graduate instructor at the University of Louisiana, I teach several sections of freshman English, along with sections in intermediate literature and writing. During my time at the university, I have been awarded the Florence Sanders Jones scholarship, an award given to students who demonstrate not only exceptional professional performance but also a unique ability to foster relationships with all institutional stakeholders (coworkers, students, administrators). Also, you will find my research background valuable in successfully starting and completing communications projects. At Advanced VoIP Solutions, I was responsible for all aspects of the business. As a small business employee, I ran communications of every kind. You might find my experience in translating strategy and operations into external and internal communications of particular interest.
