Hayley Boxall

Hayley is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She heads up the in-house forensic accounting team at Pinsent Masons. The forensic team work closely with our lawyers to advise on the commercial and financial aspects of disputes, investigations and transactions including quantum calculations, business valuations, settlement negotiations and technical accounting advice.Hayley has specialised in forensic accounting since 2000. She has a wide range of experience of dispute resolution including contract disputes, loss of profits claims, post acquisition and completion accounts disputes and breach of warranty claims. Hayley provides pre-completion advice in respect of the drafting of completion accounts provisions, earn out mechanisms and financial warranties within sale and purchase agreements. She is experienced in the preparation of share valuations in both contentious and non-contentious situations. She also reports on the accounting charge associated with share options and ExSOP awards required to be included in companies’ profit and loss accounts in accordance with IFRS2 and tax valuations for share awards. She has gained experience in a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, IT, professional services, construction and transport.
