I am personal trainer at The M.A.C. I have a master's degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology from Bangor University in Bangor, Wales. My dissertation focused on mental toughness development in athletes in the sports setting. I also conducted sport nutrition workshops and interventions for the university athletes at Bangor University. I was a member of the University Women's basketball team, that was in one of the top leagues in the British University & Colleges Sport. My undergrad was at Central College in Pella, Iowa. I majored in athletic training and worked with several NCAA All-American athletes and NCAA nationally ranked teams. Notably, the Central College softball team, wrestling team, and football team. During my four years at Central I had a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.33 on a 4.0 scale. I was on the Dean's list for the 2013 fall semester (minimum 3.5/4.0 GPA is needed for this honor). I spent my 2014 spring semester abroad, studying at Bangor University in Bangor, Wales. There I took sport science and psychology courses. I was also able to travel a great deal and discover not only the world, but myself.
