Heather Burnosky, RN BSN MTA

I have been a registered nurse for 20 years and am currently working in a support and training role for a computer software company involved in healthcare. I am SQL certified and enjoy studying Nursing Informatics. I have gained a new perspective on the healthcare industry while working for a medical software company. I recently became MTA certified in SQL Server and am actively pursuing my MCSA as well. I have experience working with both Centricity EMR and Cerner, as well as being involved with PQRS, BTE, and Meaningful Use. I am very knowledgeable about the new MACRA/MIPS program beginning this year. I have spent time teaching those in healthcare how to utilize a software application that assists in their daily work with patients and providers. I have experience creating healthcare reports that capture patient data and then display that data in a front-end User-Friendly application. I would like to continue my SQL learning and combine it with my nursing background. I love to analyze and problem solve and those have been attributes throughout my professional career.
