I am responsible for the management of a team of 9 people who work alongside the Fraud and Controls team to identify, and attempt to validate, potentially fraudulent insurance policies. My responsibilities include conducting 1-2-1s, coaching and training, managing the performance and supporting the development of individuals, managing multiple service levels, the creation of monthly MI reports, and the continuous assessment and improvement of processes. My early career started in the call centre at BGL working in customer services. Since then I have continued to work in a number of roles within the company, including satisfaction surveyor, post claims advisor, product operations advisor and, more recently, as a founding member of the Operational Fraud team.
