Heather is a digital transformation leader with a track record of shepherding both governmental institutions and private industry through disruptive change and embracing the value-rich opportunities presented by revolutionary technologies. A nearly 25-year veteran of the digital world, Heather is customer-obsessed advocate who pairs systems-thinking with an insightful understanding of business and organizational needs. A champion for business introspection and cultivating workplace cultures that live their purpose, Heather knows that future success depends on freeing people to do that which is innately human: to solve humanity's problems and reach for the stars.Heather recently joined Pegasystems as a Principal Enterprise Architect, partnering with clients to ensure that sustainable business & digital transformations drive real value, fast.Prior to joining Pega, she was the staff Principal Enterprise Architect at the International Monetary Fund. She advised sovereign nations on their own digital transformations while leading internal institutional change through reform of enterprise-wide IT governance, policy, data privacy, and directing European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) activities. She has proudly served in technical, strategic, and managerial engagements in the IT consulting industry, serving business and technology executives at NASA, DHS, USCIS, and DOL. She proudly represented her customers on Obama White House/Office of Science and Technology Policy Councils on disruptive technologies and advised the Office of Management and Budget on modern Enterprise Architecture value generation. At Powertek Corporation, Heather managed P&L and led a portfolio of IT Services and consulting engagements, and established a business capture win rate exceeding 60%. At Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies, Heather directed the Innovation Technology Centers for Enterprise Architecture and Agile Development, creating a go-to-market strategy for an IT Services line of business that would drive an eventual acquisition of the entire company.Heather is an Executive Board Member of the Virginia Serious Games Institute at George Mason University, as well as an Advisory Board member of the UPWARD Women DC Chapter.
