Heather Hadam

Originally from central New Jersey, I graduated in May 2021 from The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition through the Didactic Program in Dietetics. This was a valuable experience as I gained discipline by managing time between two part-time jobs, community service and being a full time student. I am currently in my third semester of the Master of Dietetics and Nutrition program at The Ohio State University with an expected graduation date of December 2022. I have begun to grow a passion for neonatal medical nutrition therapy after an amazing experience completing a clinical rotation at the Nationwide Children's NICU at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Ever since this rotation, I knew I wanted to begin a career as a NICU dietitian. After graduate school, I hope to obtain my credentials as a Registered Dietitian by passing the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Examination and work as a NICU dietitian to practice medical nutrition therapy, provide feeding orders and promote optimum growth.
