Human resources for me is exactly that – working with the human beings that make a workplace. I love supporting and guiding people through their working lives with empathy and clarity. I started my HR career in the wonderful world of Merlin Entertainments. I spent my first years as a generalist, dipping a toe in recruitment, payroll, engagement, benefits, employee relations and well-being. I then found my niche and specialised as an Employee Relations Advisor. I stepped back into generalist shoes as HR Manager at Chessington World of Adventures and then at Jellyfish as Senior HR Manager EMEA & APAC where I experienced HR in a new industry, with a larger team, and on a global and expanding scale. I am now excited to have returned to my specialism in Employee Relations as ER Manager for Domestic & General at their lively Brighton call centre.
