I am currently employed as a Senior Estimator, working across a range of sectors, with project value ranging typically from £3m to £25m. I have experience of all types of construction methods and project type including health, education, social, residential and commercial, the majority of these being design and build. I am involved in all aspects of the pre-construction phase; including cost plans and initial budget costs, production of both traditional and 2 stage tender estimating 7 Frameworks (ESFA & SCF), measurement, preparation of quality bid submission documents, attending interviews, preparing and participating in presentations, negotiations prior to award of contracts, managing a team (both internal and external consultants). In all, I have over 30 years of experience of working in the construction industry.
