About
I am an attorney who focuses on families and children's issues, a child custody conference officer, and a court-appointed guardian ad litem, which allows me to advocate for children's best interests in various legal proceedings. For 17 years, I was a member of the Harrisburg-based law practice of Goldberg Katzman, P.C., practiced law as a solo practitioner, and in 2020 affiliated with the Hershey law firm of James, Smith, Deitterick and Connelly. Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) invited me to be an adjunct professor of paralegal studies, where I taught legal research and writing, and guided students through the internship process from 2011 - 2020. In the fall of 2021, I was appointed a to be a custody conference officer in Dauphin County. I've authored two children's books: H is for Hershey, an A-Z journey through Hershey, its history and attractions and Mr. Hershey's legacy; and PJ Bird, the story of a little Eastern Bluebird's coming of age. I've been honored to provide commentary and insight regarding Milton Hershey's ambition, accomplishments and benevolence for the History Channel's docuseries, The Food that Built America (2019, 2021). Author proceeds of my books benefit the Derry Township Historical Society and the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania. Please feel free to contact me for speaking arrangements; I've lectured and educated about Mr. Hershey and his impact to audiences ages 5-95.
