Heather Paxton

Driven, detailed oriented, experienced finance professional and credit manager with over 25 years experience in oil and gas finance and accounting, specializing in corporate credit risk management. In my current role, I am responsable for recommending policy updates, process improvements, and reporting on credit compliance. I conduct benchmark analysis on various industries, create and test scoring models and provide updates on the current credit climate and risk factors associated with our credit portfolio. I prepare recommendations for management, IT, contracts, and data management teams on implementation of KYC, Customer and Vendor Due Diligence Programs. I perform contract reviews, negotiate, draft and approve confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements, incoming and outgoing guaranty agreements, review/approve Letters of Credit and serve as the point of contact for KYC Requests. I perform all new and annual credit reviews, including financial statement analysis and credit agency reporting data. I have experience managing credit and AR for both privately held and public entities and am proficient in JDE, SAP, Allegro, Excel, Sharepoint Online, Power Automate. I have basic SQL coding experience and routinely use D&B, S&P, Moody’s, Experian, Equifax, RMA Statement Studies and various other industry publications. I have served as Chairperson of the Unsecured Creditors’ Committee in a Chapter 11 case in Federal Bankruptcy Court.
