Heather Thweatt

I have been in the Logistics field for almost 20 years. After graduating from the University of Memphis in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, I started my career as a freight manager for a large acrylics manufacturer and distributor. For over 10 years my main responsibility was to find the most efficient transportation services and ensure billing accuracies. I then changed hats and became a transportation provider in the LTL industry for another 10 years. In the 10 years of being an account executive in the LTL market, I really learned what customers looked for in a freight partner as well as a freight lifestyle. Taking care of transportation customers takes dedication, perseverance and lots of patience. But, there is more to me than what meets the eye.... I'm an avid golfer and continued 4 year board member for the Olive Branch Country Club members Board. With the heart for helping others, I am also on the Honor Our Troops charity committee handling the set up / decorating and assisting with donations. However, my real passion is building. With experience in all types of flooring installation as well as minor plumbing and electrical, by day I take excellent care of my customers but by night I enjoy building/remodeling/painting and landscaping. I've built 3 houses since I was 21 and I am always looking for my next big project to work on to decompress.
