* As a Rehabilitation Manager I lead a team of 45 therapists in a diplomatic and inclusive manner that fosters clinical learning, problem solving and collaboration. * Being a Certified Communication Trainer I coach people across all disciplines in communication, with a focus on developing self-awareness that facilitates a positive behavior change, which in turn directly supports organizational change. * I am passionate about optimizing our nation's health system performance, via the Triple Aim Approach: Improving patient experience and care, improving the health of populations, while reducing the per capita cost of health care. * I feel equally as passionate in teaching healthcare professionals how to develop and/or access tools to assist them to meet the Triple Aim Approach. * 20+ years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist, with a focus on geriatrics and serving the under-served (homeless seniors, mental illness, visiting therapist in New York City's high risk areas)
