About

I am the Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Nurse Consultant for NHS Fife. I have over 30 years of nursing experience, working initially in neuromedical and neurosurgical nursing in Oxford and London, before specialising in dementia. In my current role I am responsible for improving the care of people with dementia all in-patient settings in Fife. In 2018 I completed a Masters by Research where I researched the use of individualised music in the management of agitation in people with moderate to severe dementia. I am currently the Co-Chair of the National Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Nurse Consultant Group.
