My main interests are in software development, software architecture, information security, enterprise systems, IT governance, web technologies and AI and their intersections. I take pleasure in diving into complex systems from the top down. I'm more interested in looking at the big picture, but merely honing a small detail to perfection also has appeal. In my approach to work I am analytical and meticulous, and aim to take into account as many relevant factors as possible. I prefer to discuss given specifications and together find the best approach for the desired functionality instead of just blindly following specifications, as I feel that it leads to better quality and more long-lasting solutions. My "first" language is Java, but I've also worked with Go, Groovy, Python, C, and JavaScript (including React, Node.js and jQuery) and other web technologies, mainly HTML and CSS (pure CSS, LESS and Sass/SCSS).
