Hemant Gaba is a National Award-winning filmmaker and has worked across formats - Feature, Short and Episodic in both fiction and documentary. He was selected for ‘International Film Business Academy’ Fellowship, a 6 months training program at Busan Asian Film School, South Korea (2021) and was elected as President of its’ alumnus body New Asian Producers’ Network for year 2022. He served as the selection jury of PSBT (Public Service Broadcasting Trust) Filmmaking Challenge initiated by his Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Foundation for Universal Responsibility in 2020. He has also been a fellow at Documentary Campus, Germany (2017); Interdoc, Serbia (2019) and Let’s Doc by Docedge, Kolkata (2017). He has directed Fireflies Parth Aur Jugnu - a ZEE5 Original (2023), An Engineered Dream (Feature Documentary, 2018), Dilliwood - A MensXP original (2017), Super Girl (Short, 2015), Japan In Nagaland (TV Documentary, 2015), Shuttlecock Boys (Narrative Feature, 2012) etc.
