Hendrik Bruinette

Hendrik is 48 years old, a qualified Chartered Accountant, has two masters degrees in Tax and Financial Management, an Actuarial Science degree, is a CFA charter holder (USA) and also holds a UK corporate treasury qualification (AMCT). Hendrik is results driven and entrepreneurial and enjoys a challenge and the opportunities to be innovative and to grow his network of clients and service providers.Hendrik started his career at Coopers & Lybrand Auditors Inc. in 1997. He subsequently worked at Nedcor, retail and merchant bank, had a short stint as Financial Director at Sempres Technologies (which he assisted with the listing thereof) and then in 2000 he joined Telkom Facilities Management Corporation (TFMC). In 2001 he was employed at First National Bank (FNB), retail banking and property finance, and progressed to become the CEO of FNB Commercial Property Finance. In 2007 he started Mettle Property Solutions, as CEO and established a R750m revolving fund with Old Mutual for affordable housing development finance. During 2007 Hendrik together with key strategic partners also started businesses in property, mining and finance. Hendrik worked in the treasury, innovation, branch banking, corporate and commercial banking and property divisions whilst at Nedbank and FNB.Hendrik has experience in financial modeling and management, due diligence reviews, creditanalysis, valuations, corporate and property finance, mining finance, cash and risk management, and property management and development in general. Hendrik has been focusing on the fiduciary/probate sector and real estate for the past 10 years.Hendrik has a good network with commercial and merchant banks, private equity firms, financial advisory and alternative funders, as well as property professionals, and business brokers.Hendrik has recently embarked on a Fintech solution within the fiduciary/probate sector to be called 1Legacy.
