I have more than 20 years’ experience from the energy sector, and through my career I have gained experiences on large complex offshore projects worldwide. Designed and build to operate in some of the harshest environments, complying to the strictest rules and regulations. I have been involved in all aspects of projects and on projects I have taken up positions such as: - Project manager - Site manager - Construction manager - Commissioning manager - Piping, mechanical, and electrical QA/QC - Mechanical/Electrical Engineer I have operational experience and have managed maintenance crews offshore during operation, this gives me a good understanding of how to reduce OPEX and increase operational efficiency. As a mechanical/electrical Engineer I have been planning projects, prepared designs and agreed on scope of work with construction yards, vendors, and sub-contractors. I have practical experience as an electrician and machinist which gives me a pragmatic approach and enables me to coordinate and plan efficiently. I have great interpersonal skills and I am a structured manager, who have organized and managed multicultural teams, cross functional teams, and stakeholders on high profile projects with very congested schedules. The projects have been very successful, secured timely return of investment to the company and received appreciation from customers. Technically I am strong and have on projects managed many disciplines. I have planned and started up new projects on project sites in Northern Europe and Asia and on-site supervised and managed: - Construction yards - Engineering teams - Sub-contractors - Vendors - QA/QC teams - Operational teams - Clients With many years of experience from an industry where HSE has high priority then this is part of my DNA.
