Herve Breuil

I am a self-driven professional who is passionate about animal rights, advocacy, rescue, and care. With a 20+ year career spanning Telecommunications, Education, and Non-Profit Organizations, I bring broad and deep experience across business management, operational management, setting strategic direction, and building and managing high performing teams. My experience includes international exposure in France and the US. Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in the areas of campaigning, community engagement and outreach, public speaking, training and development, market analysis, and animal care and rescue. Currently I am the Shelter Director of Woodstock Farm Sanctuary, a non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue farmed animals and provides them with care and sanctuary; connecting them with people to advance veganism and advocate for animal rights. I am accountable for managing a team of caregivers, financial management and budgeting, collaborating with veterinarians and other professionals, and engaging with the community to generate positive public relations and raise awareness on animal rights issues. Personal and professional development are important to me and I am always keen on taking on new challenges that catalyze growth. I have a demonstrated history of taking calculated risks which have enabled growth, including successfully starting, operating, and growing my own business. Building on my unique background in the Private, Public, and Non-Profit sectors, I aim to make a greater impact through more strategic level roles with a non-profit organization. Outside of the office, you can find my hiking the Catskills, studying chess (I used to be a Chess Master), or reading. I have been a committed vegan since 2001.
