Hillary Holt

Hello, I’m Hillary Holt. I’m a freelance Senior Art Director and Graphic Designer based in Barcelona, Spain. I have over fifteen years experience in the creative industry, ten years as a senior graphic designer / art director. I have worked in international markets based in Sydney, London and Barcelona. I have managed and led teams and projects and take pride in seeing a project meet and exceed client expectations. With a strong background in editorial long-document design, packaging and branding I am an expert at multi-tasking and juggling both the creative and production requirements of any design-based project. I know design end to end: from concept to development to finished artwork, prepress, production and print/launch in both online and offline environments. From 2011-2022 I co-ran a successful integrated creative studio, blended-creative.com.au, also freelance consulting for creative agencies, boutique design studios and publishing houses working on print based and digital design projects and content creation. Moving to Barcelona permanently in April 2022, I'm ready for opportunities to further my career and passion for visual communication. Utilising my skills in marketing, business development, cross-department liaison, staying up to date with new technologies and changes within the industry makes me a versatile and effective asset to work alongside others in a collaborative environment, or handle a project autonomously end to end.
