Hillary Schweitzer

I am a University of Central Florida graduate looking to make an impact in public service. I am passionate about working in a position that betters my community and my internship at the Department of Transportation exposed me to just that. At the DOT I was exposed to the contracting process and the budget structure as well as able to see the end result of projects and the many steps in between. My employment at La Quinta has given me extensive customer service skills and how to handle conflict resolution. The position has taught me the importance of communication, patience, and time management. Lastly my position at Thales has shown me the power of a large company and the excitement of new projects and department collaborations. In my future I look forward to pursuing a position with the federal government, and completing a Masters of Business Administration.
