Fascinated by Science and Art. My interest is to understand complex biological phenomena with mathematics and computation. Currently, I am a PhD Candidate at Nematode and Vector Genomics Lab (La Trobe University) working to understand the transmission of a parasitic disease called 'river blindness'. Here, I utilise different computational and mathematical approaches to integrate genetic, environmental and epidemiological data to predict, prevent and eliminate infectious parasitic diseases in LMICs. I am also interested in outreach and science communication. I co-initiated a Nepali-based science podcast "Science ka Kura" where I talk with Nepalese researchers around the world. I am an active member of the Computational Biology student society of Australia (COMBINE) where I am involved in the organisation of training, workshops and conferences.
