Seek change, seek adventure! My family migrated from Algeria to Belgium when I was young. Such big change was scary, but I quickly understood that it is a matter of perspective. I turn this change into a force to push myself to learn new languages, acquire new skills and live new adventures. I also learnt that it is important to support people who are going through the same experience. Shortly after graduating, I spent months volunteering at an NGO supporting immigrations and refugees. Through my personal experience and other people’s experiences, I sort of developed an immune system to embrace change rather than fear it. But also, to seek it! That is when I decided to venture to the UK and start from scratch. I studied literature, languages and communication but landed a job in sales. It may seem like sales has no connection whatsoever with my educational background, yet I found it connected. My job is to listen to clients, understand their requirements and guide them towards the solutions they are looking for. This is exactly what I learnt through my personal life and my education. Always listen to others, understand their issues be compassionate and make sure that your priority is to help them solve it all.
