I still remember my mother asking me what I wanted to do when I grew up. I promptly replied: "I want to be a movie director like Steven Spielberg". Since then, many things have changed. I started loving technology and graduated in computer engineering. At the beginning of my career, I focused on IT/implementing high complex CRM projects in top consulting companies like PwC and Accenture. I also had the privilege to live abroad and work on an international project in Chile, a fantastic professional and personal experience. But somehow, I always felt a missing piece. Until one day, I came across the following quote: "It's in Apple's DNA that technology alone is not enough — it's technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the results that make our hearts sing". Steve Jobs, of course. That was a life-changing moment. I decided to post-graduate in Movie Screenwriting and shifted my career from IT to innovation, which became my true passion (always connecting technology with humanities!). In 2018, I moved to the Netherlands to work as a Global Innovation Manager at SHV Energy, supporting its energy transition and creating a better tomorrow for generations to come.
