Hojin Moon

I am interested in development of vaccine for viral diseases and antivirals. I have experienced with influenza A virus, HIV, and some viral diseases in animals such as canine parvovirus, porcine circovirus, Newcastle disease virus, etc. Through the research experience, I became an expert in animal experiment (chicken, ferret, mouse, rat, quail, pig, dog, turkey, rabbit, and so on.) and I am also a well disciplined scientist to conduct all basic molecular works, biochemical assays, immune-related experiments and troubleshooting. Therefore, I am now able to carry out research projects to develop vaccines and antivirals, independently. Beside, I acquired how to collaborate with other institutes (other labs or companies) and how to lead or supervise team mates during my research period. This experience will meet most requirements to be a useful research partner or leader of a team. And in turn, I will be able to help to achieve the research team's ultimate goal.
