• Ten years’ professional chemist experience in experimental design and implementation of novel catalytic components and catalysts with stringent requirements • Five years’ professional experience building, operating, and performing maintenance on chemical reactors including fixed and fluidized bed to meet targets • Five years’ professional experience using GE Proficy HMI/SCADA – iFix with entry level programming skills • Proficient in operation and general maintenance of mechanical equipment such as attritor, mix muller, forming equipment, dryers, ribbon mixers, calciners, filters – all with an exemplary safety and housekeeping record • Ability to organize, analyze, report and present large volumes of data, samples and raw materials • Maintenance of experimental databases and preparation of chart summaries • Ten years’ professional experience using SAP • Five years’ professional experience using LIMS • Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines, strict adherence to safety procedures and policies such as MOC, PSSR, Work Permits, Safety Inspections and waste disposal • Member of Safety Review Board for 2 years and exemplary safety record • Intermediate Level score on the Bright Language test for Spanish
