About
Immediately following graduation with my Accounting degree, I was hired on as an Accounts Payable Clerk with The Price Companies. After one year I was promoted to a dual role of Account Analyst for The Price Companies and Sawmill Accountant for their subsidiary Price Lumber Company. I held those positions for 7 years until Price Lumber Company was purchased by Interfor in 2015. At that time, I followed the sawmill and was hired as the Divisional Accountant for the Monticello location. In September of 2020 I was given the opportunity to double my Divisional Accountant role and took on the responsibilities at our Baxley, GA location as well. In the spring of 2022 I was promoted to Senior Regional Accountant for Interfor’s South Region. In this role I support the Divisional Controllers and Director of Finance in all areas of accounting for our 13 southern US mills.
