About

I’m a tech policy analyst interested in education technology, data governance policy, artificial intelligence, and international trade and politics. I work to protect digital human rights and ensure that the benefits of emerging technologies are realized across all members of society. I currently work as a Research and Communications Associate on the Center for Democracy & Technology's Student Privacy Project. I recently completed an internship at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), analyzing trends in international economic policy and the strategic significance of emerging technologies. Last year, I completed a Fulbright U.S. Student Grant as an English Teaching Assistant in Kinmen, Taiwan. This unique experience is the fruition of rigorous academic training in political science and international affairs, together with diverse professional opportunities and experience living internationally. My earlier professional background consists of tech start-ups, international NGOs, and research assistantships. I prioritize empirically grounded decisions and data-driven theoretical inferences. My software development background has equipped me with the technical know-how to gather, manipulate, and process large amounts of data. Meanwhile, my undergraduate curriculum has trained me to meaningfully analyze and interpret this data with a critical eye. These combined skills make me a highly effective research analyst. In my free time, I enjoy learning languages, reading up on current events, and exploring the natural environment. I also channel creative energy into drawing and bartending, and I’m always down for a foreign film or two! If you’d like to connect, reach out over LinkedIn!
