Production chemist Multi-task to cover a variety of job functions  Prepare and process raw materials Maintain detailed device history records and training logs Maintain measures and dispenses materials Carry out production tasks in support of manufacturing goals and objectives Follow all safety guidelines, manufacturing policies and procedures. Operate under strict QSR compliance. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Assists with scheduling of weekly production.  Writes technical reports as required.  Maintain records and notebooks as directed in a neat, thorough and accurate manner. Perform required data entry on company planning and materials management system. Report results to supervisor. Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job. Has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activities.Quality Control Operate and calibrate all general lab equipment Perform complex formulations, component and material evaluations, equipment calibrations and maintenance. Familiarity with guidelines such as good manufacturing processes and ISO standards  Performs in-process testing of reagents and component formulations.  Review and analyze testing data from raw material suppliers and external testing vendors. Prepare samples for analysis, analyze, and report results. Prepare controlled documentation in support of the sampling, analysis, and reporting of results. Analyze data with respect to standards or to previously determined parameters. Perform routine review in support of GMP. Perform QC testing using analytical methods for release of products and intermediates. Assist in method validation and transfer activities and provide QC input to method development and transfer teams.  
