I am currently working for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Brazil as a Territorial Development Advisor and am responsible for the implementation of the UNDP decentralized cooperation strategy in the country. With UNDP since 2004 I held positions of Strategic Operations Specialist of the Bureau for Development Policy in New York and Program Advisor for UNDP Brazil. For 26 years I have specialized in public management, human development, local development and municipal capacity building with a number of projects implemented in Europe, Central Asia, the United States as well as Brazil. During last 15 years I have worked in Brazil coordinating UNDP projects in the areas of territorial development including localizing Millennium Development Goals and later on the Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals as well as sustainable practices in mining, oil and gas sector.
