Ian Dorman

I grew up with a wide variety of interests and an insatiable hunger for knowledge. I have always tried to learn as much as I could so that I could work on things on my own and took this thinking into college with me where I received degrees in automated manufacturing as well as engineering design. Understanding aspects of manufacturing automation, parametric modeling, FEA, and assembly simulations I felt would provide me with the ability to provide the skill and perspective to make me a valuable asset wherever I went out of college. For the past 5 years I have utilized these skills while supporting various manufacturing processes, process changes, and initiating some other process changes in the spirit of lean manufacturing. During this time, I also learned various programming languages to help further automate routing, design, and CNC programming processes. I'm always up for a new challenge and feel as though I can tackle anything that is handed to me.
