I believe technology and environment do not contradict each other and I wish to achieve the ultimate balance with my knowledge. I co-founded Phycobloom, a synthetic biology firm aiming to teach microalgae the ability to share their oils with us more easily, so we don't have to dig oil out of wells anymore in the future. I have a primary degree in plant pathology and microbiology and performed extensive studies on plant science. I also had exposures to animal models (mouse/rat/pig), cancer and drug development, metabolism and psychology on animal models. My PhD extends to the field of dinoflagellate biology and evolutionary biology. I have extensive knowledge and skills in molecular biology, cell biology, advanced microscopy, chromatography, single-molecule spectroscopy, protein expression/purification, biochemistry and biophysics.
