Ian Hurley

I am currently working on my Junior year pursuing Biology and Spanish majors. I have developed leadership and teamwork skills by participating in Ks Landsea Leader Internship program and I am currently a board member of Kalamazoo College Environment Conservation Organization. I have a passion for/interest in R&D of plant-based alternatives to meat, cheese, and other animal/chemical-based products. In the future, I hope to apply my knowledge to help others live healthier lives without having to give up foods that make them happy. Currently, I am a sprout in the growing jungle of plant-based alternatives, but I would love the opportunity to grow through conversation, internships, and/or shadowing with professionals involved in health, medicine, and research.
