About

I graduated with a 1st class Mining Engineering Masters from Camborne School of Mines in 2013 following from my 1st class Civil Engineering Masters in 2009. Between my degrees I concentrated on research into storm water attenuation system at the University of Exeter. After graduating in late 2013 I moved to Canada to follow my passions living an outdoors lifestyle while making connections with the mining industry in BC. At the beginning of 2015 I began working as a geotechnical engineer with Kamoto Copper Company (a Glencore subsidiary) with a focus on rock mechanics and the stability and monitoring of our large open pit and underground mines. In early 2016 I started working as a proposals engineer with Abbey Pynford specializing in foundation solutions using piled rafts. I am a member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IMMM) with a ProfGradIMMM designation and am working towards becoming chartered as a professional engineer. Specialties: Rock Mechanics, Geotechnics, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Risk Assessment, Geocomputational Mechanics, Solidworks, AutoDesk, Excel,
