Assisted with the installation of skimmer pumps, air compressor, and other associated equipment. Performed laser induced fluorescence (LIF) study. Ongoing tasks include operations and maintenance on the system and LNAPL monitoring. Responsible for the preparation of quarterly report. Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessment, Confidential National Retail Client, Blue Ash, Ohio. Performed Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, identified recognized environmental conditions in association with the property. Assisted with work plan development for the Phase II subsurface investigation. Placed soil borings and collected surface and subsurface soil sampling, collected grab groundwater samples, sampled existing groundwater monitoring wells and installed and sampled subslab vapor monitoring points. Monitoring Well and Injection Well Installation, Confidential Client, Rochester, Indiana. Drilling oversight for the installation of monitoring wells and nested recovery wells in unconsolidated sediments. Collected and logged samples, prepared boring logs and determined screen intervals for monitoring and injection well installation. Also, developed wells in preparation for injections.Excavation Oversight, Confidential National Retail, Parkersburg, West Virginia. Oversight for excavation of petroleum contaminated soil at a former gasoline station. Removed and documented soil removal from former tank cavity and provided oversight of hydraulic lift removal. Also collected soil samples for underground storage tank closure using Terracores™. Observed and documented the removal of the building. Documented the off-site waste disposal.
