Igor Narudinov

After graduating from the State Maritime Academy of Saint-Petersburg, Russia with a specialization in the operation of Nuclear plants and Steam Turbines, I began my career as Third Engineer with Interorient Shipmanagment. I moved through several positions of increasing responsibility and was soon in a Chief Engineer position. Over the course of my career I have participated in extensive training to expand my technical skills, as I am dedicated to continuous learning and improvement. In my most recent position I was offered the opportunity to join the building of the modern IMOIIMAX vessel “Stena Immaculate” in the Guangzhou shipyard, which gave me great insight into and practice in ship building, sea trials, and ship delivery. As a leader I strive to establish a culture of safety on board ship, and have introduced multiple safety programs, serving as facilitator of “Shell International – Learning from Incidents” - Partners in safety program. I am proud of leading my teams to deliver high quality results in our often stressful, high pressure environments. My efforts have resulted in excellent results in OCIMF SIRE (VIQ 7), CDI, Flag State, PSC, USCG inspections, and Class Surveys. I've successfully completed my cross-training program for Oil to Gas Fleet and have experience on LEG, LPG/C carriers. My profile outlines my background and experience, including examples of my specific contributions. It is my goal to bring my strong leadership skills, ability to relate well to people from all backgrounds and positions, and dedication to advancing company goals to facing a new challenge and contributing to organizational growth.
