The nature of the job involves technical knowledge of multiple complex systems. Communications is a vital part of my job. I see myself as a global employee who has to collaborate with people internationally to accomplish the job. This often demands confident and clear verbal skills in presenting information. Despite the challenges faced in my line of work, I find it satisfying to realize that I am helping people in the marine line connect with their loved ones thousands of miles away.
