Ilaria Bellini

I’m an Italian architect/ interior designer from Rome, Italy. I’m based in China from more than seven years, where I have been working for and with international and local design companies and clients. Currently I’m working as team leader for Peddle Thorp Architects, interior and architectural company focusing on the design of high-end hospitality projects. I’m responsible for develop the design, coordinating and collaborating with the other teams to ensure the design intent it is carried through the construction. In my professional career I have been working on the design of multiple projects in Italy, China and Thailand, ranging from hospitality to mixed use and retail, featuring various design styles from luxury to modern and contemporary. Drawing on solid planning and interior design skills, I seek to combine both creativity and functionality, with an emphasis on client’s needs and requirements. Passionate and enthusiastic about my work, I take inspiration from surroundings and cultural elements, reinterpreting traditional elements in a contemporary way, not only to achieve a visual effect but also to create a story and ultimately a design experience. In my design, colors, textures and materials are combined to obtain an elegant and yet efficient design.
