Without stories, we do not exist. It's importance is evident is every aspect of our lives. It determines our history, our legacy and ultimately, our future. It has been my career mission to be as effective a storyteller as possible. And in the last two decades, I've managed to do so on both a national and regional scale. From writing sitcoms that challenged our national identity, to championing men's and fathers' rights as an editor; to launching a new brand across nine countries in APAC and even eliciting a ministerial-level response in defence of a cultural phenomenon - my belief in effective storytelling is unwavering. In a checkered career spanning 14 roles across four industries - my pursuit of effective storytelling - especially those woven with purpose and promise, has only gotten stronger. I've also recently come to an important milestone in my life - I now understand the importance of intergenerational communication and engagement. And I'm looking to facilitate this as much as I can - as our connection in and amongst each other is paramount for the betterment of society and us, as human beings. Everyone has a story, and it needs to be told. Only then can we be moved, motivated and inspired to build our legacies.
