After graduating from Georgia College & State University in 2009 with a BBA in Marketing, I worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car while my wife finished her degree. In just over one year, I increased efficiencies and boosted income per car by $100, personally signed eight corporate accounts to the branch, and increased corporate growth by 38%. The following 10 years I have spent with RMSC/BAT I have seen continued growth in negotiating, coaching, communication, presentation selling, and critical thinking skills. I have been fortunate enough to serve in several different roles during my time with RMSC. I have been on the ground floor calling on independent outlets as a territory manager, called on regional Account HQs as an Account Manager, and called on Strategic Accounts, such as Circle K, GPM, and EG, as a Lead Manager Account Operations in Home Office. Since 2020 I have been a Senior Manager with RMSC. In my first role as a Senior Manager. I had a team of 8 direct reports comprising of 7 Territory Managers and 1 Account Manager. Due to the training provided to me by the company I was successful as a coach as the team gain leadership for the VUSE Brand in the Division. Another testament to the strength of the team is that 4 out of 7 TMs were able to get promoted within role from the coaching provided. My current role as a Senior Manager deals with Strategic and Key Cities. I have been tasked with activating the markets of Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland for our NGPs (Next Generation Products). The company provides a large amount of flexibility to utilize budgets for In-Person-Activation, MSA Marketing Materials, Partnerships in Alternative Channels, and Digital Market Activation. Through collaboration with Senior Division Managers, Senior Key Account Managers, and the Senior Director we have had several wins through the utilization of the budget for all activities above. Due to those wins we have grown to #1 in 50% of the metrics already for NGP. Thanks to the development throughout my career, I have been able to develop a robust skill set to include interpersonal, analytical, coaching, and selling skills.
