Inbar Afek Nacht

Adv. Inbar Nacht is the Founding Partner at MEI Law and Founder & President of Nacht Philanthropic Ventures.Nacht retired as a Major, after serving for 15 years as a J.A.G. Corps attorney in virtually all branches of the IDF including Intelligence, Air-Force, Navy and Disciplinary Law. As Deputy Attorney of JSR, Inbar managed a 60-member legal staff, and formerly served as Attorney General of the IDF Intelligence Technology Unit and Attorney General of the IDF Navy. Her professional expertise is in criminal & civil litigation, international maritime law, and defence export. Inbar led the Reform of the IDF Disciplinary Law, and represented many cases in this area, including in the Supreme Court. Throughout her career, Inbar received numerous Outstanding Officer citations, including from the IDF Attorney General, the Chief of Staff and Minister of Defence. Shortly after the outbreak of Covid-19, Inbar and her MEI Law partners, filed a Supreme Court Appeal that exposed and overturned the Ministry of Health's unlawful attempt to force employers to bear the expense of their employees' quarantine period. In 2020, Inbar founded Nacht Philanthropic Ventures, the family’s philanthropic platform. During Covid-19, the foundation launched innovative initiatives focused on humanitarian aid, food security, welfare and culture. Inbar was the visionary behind the acclaimed “Tzav Hashaa” cultural project, which included remastering of 62 classic Israeli songs, financial support to thousands of music professionals, and advocating legislators to provide government support for the ailing music industry.
