Inez Timmermans

I am an enthusiastic person, who gets energy from valuable collaborations and working with the talent of others. Before I entered the world of HR, I was a teacher at Thomas More University, but I was looking for a new challenge. I found this at Randstad Medical, a great place to work where there is room for informal mentoring, collegiality and new opportunities to challenge, train and further develop myself. Here I have discovered the different aspects of HR, multitasking is a new challenge and I make deeper connections with both client and candidate. I strive to be a proud representation of my employer! Graduated as a bachelor in orthopedics I started working as a shoe technician. Looking for variety I was able to combine this job a few years later with teaching as a lecturer at the university Thomas More. When the opportunity arose to renew the education program and to put my stamp on it, I made the switch completely. In addition to teaching, I guided students one-on-one during their first bachelor year, I followed up exchange students and I was responsible for refining the program. Over the years I worked to reduce the distance between the teachers and students, which considerably increased the learning opportunities within the program. Although I carried out my job as a teacher with great passion, I felt that I wanted to take the next step in my professional career outside the (rather small) world of orthopedics.
