Na een opleiding biomedische wetenschappen en 2,5 jaar werkervaring in academisch onderzoek besloot ik mijn pad te veranderen. In 2018 begon ik aan een nieuwe opleiding, HBO verpleegkunde. Tijdens deze duaal opleiding heb ik met veel plezier op verschillende afdelingen van het OLVG gewerkt. Na 3,5 jaar heb ik de opleiding versneld afgerond in februari 2022. Kort hierna, maart 2022 verhuisde ik met mijn jonge gezin naar Gent, België, waar ik momenteel op zoek ben naar een nieuwe uitdaging als verpleegkundige.
